Director Chen Lei develivered at the ceremony, and he introduced the technical advantages and industry status of BMTI, as well as reviewed the cooperation with TRAD in recent years. Meanwhile, he aslo expressed heartfelt thanks to TRAD and Mr. Chen Yupeng for their support and help in the internationalization of BMTI. Director Chen Lei pointed out that the establishment of the joint laboratory has laid a solid foundation for the in-depth cooperation between China and France, and was of great significance to the future technological development and international market expansion.

Christian Chatry, general manager, introduced the technical strength and main business direction of TRAD in radiation simulation and testing, fully affirmed the technical level and rich experience of BMTI in aerospace microelectronics, and put forward suggestions for all-round cooperation between the two sides in the future.

Special guest Mr. Chen Yupeng congratulated the inauguration of the joint laboratory. He said not only were both sides able to achieve win-win cooperation in the future, they also gained more from the technical level and the international market.

At the meeting, China and France respectively announced the organizational structure, personnel arrangement and work responsibilities of the laboratory, as well as the main cooperation areas in detail. The two sides had in-depth communication and discussion on the details of the future cooperation direction, which pointed out the direction for the next specific work, including the research and development of radiation effect simulation software, radiation performance evaluation technology, and aerospace electronic components testing standards on the basis of existing cooperation. In the follow-up, the two parties will make full use of the advantages of technology and platform, carry out in-depth project cooperation, and academic exchanges through mutual visits and lectures, to achieve win-win cooperation and jointly enhance core competitiveness.

BMTI-TRAD international joint laboratory for radiation research on aerospace components is the first one on radiation resistance in the fields of Chinese aerospace microelectronics. In the future, BMTI will rely on the platform to explore advanced technologies in the field of radiation research of aerospace electronic components. In addition, it will further expand the European aerospace microelectronics market, and fully promote the internationalization of BMTI, to make new and greater contributions to the sailing project and building a world-class aerospace microelectronics enterprise.
